SkySwift Medical – Emergency care at the speed of the sky

A 1,600 kg hybrid eVTOL ambulance with 16 electric motors in a twin configuration that flies above city traffic and then drives on the road, bringing critical care from hospital to patient’s door in minutes.

THE CHALLENGE

The urban emergency gap

In dense cities, traffic congestion makes the Golden Hour almost unreachable. Every minute lost in an ambulance stuck in traffic can reduce a critical patient’s chance of survival. In Tunisia and across Africa, heliports and medical aviation are rare and expensive. Hospitals need a new way to move patients and doctors faster than the road, without building an airport on every roof.

The SkySwift Solution: Decoupling Emergency Response from Urban Gridlock

SkySwift is a 1,600kg hybrid eVTOL ambulance platform engineered to eliminate transit-related mortality in African megacities. By combining the speed of vertical flight with high-torque autonomous ground mobility, we provide a unified bedside-to-bedside logistics solution. Our dual-mode technology overcomes infrastructure gaps while maintaining a rigorous EASA-aligned certification path. With a validated market and technical feasibility established, SkySwift offers a high-yield opportunity to lead the next generation of life-critical urban aviation.

Technology

Hybrid eVTOL ambulance platform

Carbon fiber monocoque chassis designed for both road and vertical flight. 16 electric motors arranged in a twin configuration on 8 arms, each arm carrying two paired motors and twin carbon propellers, providing high thrust and strong redundancy. 4 in-wheel electric drive motors for autonomous ground motion and powerful torque on hospital ramps. High-voltage lithium-ion battery pack with a hybrid range-extender architecture for long missions.

Avionics built for certification

Dual networks separating flight-critical avionics from the medical payload. 3D LiDAR, stereo cameras, and GNSS RTK for precise navigation and landing in dense urban areas. Intelligent power distribution and advanced BMS with an emergency reserve to guarantee a safe landing. Future certification roadmap aligned with EASA SC-VTOL and regional medical aviation regulations.

Safety & Redundancy

Multiple failsafe system architectures and redundant motor configurations ensure safe operation even in the event of partial system failure.

PHASE: PROTOTYPING & PRODUCTION

From Blueprint to Reality: Active Testing and Fabrication

Moving beyond digital models, our Innovation Hangar serves as the physical bridge between advanced aeronautical theory and real-world deployment. Here, the SkySwift 1.6-ton eVTOL transition from a 3D blueprint to a high-performance reality. Every phase of fabrication is governed by strict EASA-compliant protocols, ensuring that active testing and structural assembly meet the highest safety standards required for medical emergency aviation.
